I always thought that Thai Airways has the Frequent Flyer Programme easiest to upgrade to Star Gold Status (50000 miles in one calendar year or 80000 in 2 calendar years), but upon enrollment of the Air Canada Aeroplan I found out that you only need 35000 miles per calendar year to upgrade to Star Gold status!! What a big difference? Does anyone know whether is there a FFP easier to upgrade to Gold level (the level which entitles you to use airport lounges regardless what class you're travelling) ??
