Hey all...
Flying (for the 1st time) US Airways on the 26th, SEA-PHL-FCO.
In light of this mess from last week, I'm considering not packing any toothpaste, shaving gel, etc. etc. so that I can carry on both my backpack and smaller wheeled case, which according to US is fine for carry on.
I could check the bag, but I'm concerned about checking bags through PHL on US, given the less than stellar reputation of their ability to transfer bags.
What do you think...should I take a chance and check the wheeled case to FCO?

I've non-reved there 4 times since January, and I never had a problem on either end. I would say with confidence (as I used to work the international ramp in PHL) that you should have no problem checking your bag.
