Believe it or not... Apparently Aeropostal is wet-leasing a 738 from Miami Air for its MIA flights. It was spotted in Valencia last week by fellow Venezuelan spotter "Juan Jose".

Anyone knows more details about this? Will this be only temporally? After checking some random dates in Travelocity for the upcoming weeks, it seems like the 738 is only flying to VLN, not CCS nor MAR.

Saludos desde Monterrey,
Luis

Last I heard was that VH was on the edge of bankrupcy, they owed a lot of money to Amadeus and Galileo and Travel Agency software people.

But yeah, a VLN-MIA would be a good flight....Doesn't S3 or VH already serve this rroute?

This is only for a short period until Sept. 20th. and was discussed already.

Amadeus is solved and online again next week, Galileo is solved since some months. I am not sure what you mean with travel agency software because Aeropostal is an airline. I can just imagine the company making the website....
But anyway, there seem to be a lot of people the owe money all around the globe.
However, I don't think that they are "at the edge of bancrupcy". Today they received their 8th MD 83.

Chiguire,

I read it on a previous post here on a.net, just some guy who said that ...I think it was the one about conviasa getting 6 new planes....but yeah I guess now VH is doing pretty good.

I have to say before santa barabara started doing their business, VH was probably best in Venezuela, but i guess that depends on the opinion of the person

Yup, I've seen it three times parked at MIA and one taking-off from CCS. I don't know what to think Big grin

Yep, I will be taking this flight in two weeks.

I have several friends and family that have flown this flight with Miami Air recently and I've only heard good things. The plane is obviously a lot nicer than the MD-83's, features IFE with video and audio, and the entire crew is US based. The flights now operate much more smoothly and are more punctual than ever. I wish Miami Air would always operate this flight instead of VH...

The flight schedule has also changed for the better, and now leaves at 2:30 PM from VLN instead of the killer early morning 7 AM flight (which means being at the airport at 4-5 AM).

But yes, unfortunately it is only temporary...
