From the WN news release...

Southwest Airlines is answering Customers' demand for travel with additional flights at Dallas Love Field and New Orleans, and with new service between Reno/Lake Tahoe and Chicago Midway and between Tampa Bay and Albany. Southwest Airlines is expanding its route network and adding new flights in several other key Southwest cities.

What's the frequency on the ALB-TPA ? I know that WN had flown this route once a week in the past (Saturdays)

Interesting how NW dumps MSP-RNO and WN starts MDW-RNO. Looks like the legacies are so uncompetative and clueless that they can turn gold into fools gold. With that in mind, I think that Virgin America will do very well if they play their cards right........

I'm leavin on a jet plane. Don't know when I'll be back again....

Good news for ALB! Is the route going to be 73Gs or 733s or both?

The RNO-MDW service started as Saturday-only, beginning June 17 of this year. High load factors convinced WN to go to daily service, beginning December 4.

AA has two daily non-stops from RNO to ORD.

BTW, WN carries 50% of RNO's traffic.

I'm sorry, ma'am, I don't work for the airline.
