Just thinking the same thing, or do they already have volunteer's??

First Class passengers are my favourites. They can't get any further forward without an ATPL.

I was thinking the same thing. I'd gladly pay my own way to TLS just so I could participate in the flights.

By the way, I read somewhere else that the "passengers" will be culled from the manufacturers' ranks; however, I'd be curious to know if any customer-airline employees will participate as well. Kind of like observers in order to prepare for their respective revenue flights.

Most of the testers will be randomly drawn from a pool of volunteer Airbus personnel.

The rest will be official representatives of Airbus, its partners, customers and regulating agencies.

Don't remember whether the media will be allowed.

So no, you can't volunteer unless you're one of those.

I've got $h*t to do

The list of Airbus employees who were successful in the draw for places has already been circulated internally. It was run as a lottery, you had to put your name in and whether you got on the short flights or long flights was a matter of chance.

Will you come to Montréal, or go to Toronto?

Or, none of the above?

A friend of mine was drawn on the 10 hour flight, but is unable to go as we fly out to Italy on the day he would return to the UK.

All of the flights depart from Toulouse, and land back at Toulouse. They are not scheduled to stop at any other airports.
