well, i was just sitting in the garden minding my own business today when i heard an aircraft on approach to RW25 at NCL. No big deal as i live on the approach, it is not uncommon, although this one appeared to be louder than normal. As such I glanced up and was shocked to find a 747-400 on approach to NCL. Registration A6-HRM so the Emirates private 747-400 (not sure of the story behind it).
Does anyone have any idea of why it was here? Anyone live in the area and saw it as well?
Thanks in advance
Gary

Quoting Cardiffairtaxi (Reply 4): Newcastle Utd FC have been rumoured to have a possible Arab consortium, looking to buy the club.
Could well be visiting on this business.
yes quite possibly. Belgravia are looking to invest in the club, don't know their background though, could be an arabic connection.
Quoting Jetman41 (Reply 5): They still won't win anything!!.
well, it's looking good so far, and i am looking forward to Oba Martin's thrashing of villa's defense!!!
Quoting Gkirk (Reply 1): Possibly picking up banknotes?
hmm, unsure of this, just a very usual aircraft to use for NCL.
GKirk, thanks for the link and the pic.
BTW, anyone know what time it left?
Thanks
Gary

I think Belgravia are acting on behalf of the Makhtoum brothers.
