New Seating Arrangment On DL 757s?

Hello All,

I just booked a flight to the Left Coast for September and my return flight on DL560 is on a 757. When I went to select my seat something didn't look right and I realized that the seating chart showed 7 rows in First when DL's own website and SeatGuru.com both show 6 rows.

I'm wondering if this configuration is one of the converted Song planes with the F cabin back in place with all the fancy schmancy Song PTVs and whatnot. Any ideas?

And in contrast, I'm flying DL MIA-ATL next Thursday, on a B752 without a first class section. I'm in seat 04F, but the whole plane is coach... How come?

Yours is an ex-Song plane that hasn't been converted yet. It might have been painted though.

I belive you are correct on this, I had heard there was a extra 2 seats in the new config.

Didn't they remove the front closet on the Song planes? This would explain why there are two extra seats. Either way, I heard there were going to be tw extra seats as well.

the seat map shown is the reconfigured 757-232s (ex song) featuring First class (26 seats) and Economy (158 seats). Both classes feature Delta's new IFE system.

No need to do something that expensive.  Wink I will put up a trip report though with some pics. It's going to be a redeye but I'll get what I can. Thanks for the info guys.
