JetBlue Chairman David Neeleman announced today that his company is interested in having major maintenance work done on its fleet of Embraer regional jets at Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Services, which is based at Nashville International.

I actually hadn't thought about where the heavy maintenance is done for the E190s. As they get older they're going to need those C and D checks.

I believe the A320s have their maintenance done at JFK and in El Salvador. Is that correct?

Vought Aircraft Industries has a large facility on the Nashville airport. There they make wing components for the A319/320 and A330/A340-300-500-600 programs. Perhaps that is why there might be a A320 line, but other than Vought, I'm not sure where it would be.
