While in S.E. Asia for three months from the 11th November, my girlfriend and I will be visiting a few airports, namely BKK, SIN, KUL, PNH and REP. As I’ve been to SIN, I know what to expect viewing-wise. And as I’ve asked before, I know what to expect at BKK. But what about KUL, PNH and REP? In the case of KUL, we’ll be flying to and from the L.C.C.T. Are there any views from there?
Cheers!

From within the terminals at KUL there are excellent views of the aprons - but the runways are somewhat distant. However, KUL isn't the busiest of airports, and depending on the time of day you might see a whole host of Air Asia and Malaysian domestics and not a huge amount else compared to other major international airports.

Thanks.
I apologise for my complete ignorance, but would I be able to look through those windows while en route to the L.C.C.T. at KUL? Or is it separate? Or something else?
Our flight to PNH will depart at 1515, but we'll get there 4 or 5 hours early. I guess that time coincides with the quiet spells?
And our flight from REP will arrive at 1445 or 1435.
James – with a dizzying, self-induced headache. Oh well. Started at 7 A.M. today and will finish at 8 P.M. Then off for two days. Woo.

I left for SIN on an SQ777 around early afternoon and it was pretty quiet, although a few treats for the European like a Vietnam Airlines A321 were seen.

What to see through the window between KUL-LCCT and KUL-Main ? Trees ! and LOTS of it. The journey is totally landside. The road takes you landside from the main terminal, and circle the airport northside and back in though/near the maintenance/cargo area. The apron itself is before the runway, not in front of it. Not sure about viewing from there though.
