Yesterday , the CEO of Egyptair , who is also the Minister of the Egyptian Civil Aviation , was on board the regular A330 MS flight , flying back to CAI from Orly.
Rumor is , he was at Paris to confirm a 7 A330s order and also has placed a new A321 order.

Hi FCKC
most of the Rumors was that MS is going to order more A330 since they are happy with the performance, and it meet the MS routes, plus MS plan is to increase the fleet by 2010 so it make sense to place the order Right now.
About the A321 i'm not sure if MS will place such an order since EgyptAir still waiting for the B738.
Hopefully we will hear from them soon.
Quoting FCKC (Thread starter): the CEO of Egyptair , who is also the Minister of the Egyptian Civil Aviation

Quoting FCKC (Reply 3): Thanks for the correction Horus.
Obviously what the staff of MS , here in Paris told me , is wrong about the CEO and the Minister of Civil Aviation.
No problem FCKC, many people are unsure. I remember a while a go there was some controversy in Egypt about which of the 3 had the final say when it came to making decisions about the airline's future. However there's no doubt Engineer Atef Abdelhamid is the boss here.
