Less than a year after its display at CDG airport, the last Air France Concorde will probably have to be moved to another location.
F-BVFF is now displayed near one of the main taxiways that links the North part of the Airport (CDG1 and the the 2 north Rways) to the South part (CDG2 and the 2 south Rways).
It seems that F-BVFF is too close to the taxiway ... a B747 can pass in front of the supersonic ... but an A380 wouldn't, and would rash the nose.
We don't know yet if F-BVFF will be moved to a complete new location ... or if it will be just re-installed at the same place, a few meters back.

Just taxied past it a few hours ago & discussed it with a guy from kuwait. I think they should grab the opportunity to retract the landing gear for the new display location.

Did they not think about the A380 when they installed it?! Ah, well.
Personally, I don't know the layout of CDG too well, but I think she should be put somewhere the public can easily see her, so photographs such as the ones above can still be taken. I'd still like to go over to Paris when I get back home next year and see the French Concordes.

Well, it is heavily advertised by the CDG Hilton, which has replaced its windowless lounge on the first floor with a nicer one on the top floor with a direct view on F-BVFF at its current location
