I was on the sidelines at my football game today, and I saw a 744 on approach for MSP. I waited until it was closer, and boom. A Lufthansa 747-400, again at MSP, for the second time in two weeks. Does anyone know why there was another one here??

P.S. My team lost our game, 26-20, if anyone cares.

Looks like Flight 446, Franfurt to Denver. Lufthansa website just says diverted to MSP. Flightaware showed a 6:55pm cst departure to DEN. Dont know for sure if it left or not.

Too bad Lufthansa doesn't fly to MSP. Neither do BA or AF, why not? Is it too cold 6 months a year.

Oh, it's not that cold here, except for last year, 3 days of 30 degrees F below 0!! That was cold. Thanks for the info guys.

I remember seeing AF at MSP many times in the late 1960's or early 1970's.

I couldn't find any information on that, but according to Flightaware, the flight arrived some 15 minutes ago.

Maybe LH should just add MSP. They seem to be making a habit out of it already.

MSP-CDG will come back. That is if NW survives (they will). MSP Lindbergh terminal will become a 100% Skyteam. MAC will probably invite every Skyteam member to serve MSP. Will be a 787 heaven!  cloudnine
