Aviation Store In London

hi guys!

Can any of you recomend a good aviation store in central London? Specifically im looking for an airband scanner to monitor ATC but i guess a good aviation store should have all these types of goodies and more!!! So if any one knows about a shop in central london please let me know.

Yes; there is one quite close to Victoria Station. If you go out the back entrance of Victoria, the one beside Dixons, you'll see a shopping centre in front of you. Go around that - straight on and then left towards Belgrave Road and then, Warwick Way, which intercects it. If you turn right there, there's an aviation shop on a corner.

That would be Transair Pilots shop, it is aimed more at PPL pilots and those studying CPL/ATPL rather than the enthusiast, although they usually have a good selection of add ons for FS2004.


It is way over priced though. I'd try a search on ebay for what you want first.
