This article appeared in the Toronto Sun today. The writer seems to have little idea about the scale of plane spotting here at YYZ and all around the world. He seems surprised that someone would be allowed to have a scanner and actually listen to ATC and get as close to the runways as they do.

The Toronto Sun is little more than a tabloid that often hires idiots who can't even put their own numbers together in a reliable way. Take their moronic financial commentator Linda Leatherdale who is universally bashed in the Toronto legal community or this complete moron who apparently has no clue. As someone with a strong chance of emmigrating to Canada generally and Southwest Ontario specifically within the forseeable future, the Sun will definately not be on my shopping list.

Quoting N1120A (Reply 3): The Toronto Sun is little more than a tabloid
Agree with you 100% and still even they should do some re search before you go public like that.
I was reading a report a while ago YHM Spec/Toronto Star in regard of the Canadian Air Safety and if you had no knowledge about the industry you would think flying is a total disaster and apparently TSB-C is implementing new measures and they think it is perhaps because of the article...... what
ever sales the story I guess......
