I was wondering why Trump's gorgeous 727-23 is still in PSM ? It's not like that plane to stay in 1 place for a month . It' been there since August 1st. Contruction @ LGA ?

maybe the Donald is trading up from his used 727-100, its not like that plane is up to current TRUMP standards.

I was thinking the same thing. Could there some kind of maintenance issues with the Donald's ride?

Yes, it is reg'd in the Cayman Islands which is one of the British Overseas Territories, if I am not mistaken. I have read this before somewhere on another forum.

The parking fees might be less there then having the plane parked at a NYC airport!

Does Pan Am have a Repair Station license...? Their based at PSM with a huge hangar. It could also just be out of the flying rotation so why pay the very high parking fees at LGA

Have you actually seen it, or are you going only by flightaware? Perhaps it's been re-registered and flew out with a different tail number?

Maybe the Donald is upgrading to an A380VIP, and givnig the 727 to Melania, thereby painting it in her colors?

The parking fees at LGA are not terribly high, especially not for the Donald. I used to frequently work his plane in and out of there when I worked at the FBO there. Rumor has it that he is supposed to trade in VP-BDJ for a 757. Stay tuned...

Well if it helps, his chopper 76DT has been in and out of TEB a lot recently so Trump likely hasn't been in PSM for over a month... Guess there's either a mech issue or just being stored there for whatever reason

Wouldn't that get real expensive if those things are as in demand as everyone here keeps saying? Sure, he's the Trump...but surely if he can get a snazzy BBJ or something for loads less he'd have to consider.

Or perhaps Mr. Trump is that UFO customer for the sole 747-8I that was ordered.  Wink

...well, in that case, why should The Donald subject his ego to the discomfort and humiliation of a mere twin-engine narrow body crowded ? Who knows, HE could be the launch customer of the sole B748i on Boeing's order book. Hmmm... scratchchin
