JetBlue announces Cancun, adds Aruba
JetBlue Airways announced Thursday that is has received federal approval to add non-stop service between New York JFK and Cancun, Mexico. Beginning Nov. 30, the airline will fly once a day between the cities using Airbus A320 aircraft. The destination will be JetBlue’s first in Mexico. Connecting flights are available through Boston, Burlington (Vt.), Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse (N.Y.), Pittsburgh and Washington Dulles. In another Caribbean move for JetBlue, the airline begins daily non-stop service today between New York JFK and Aruba. Connecting service is available from 16 JetBlue cities.

My aunt is flying JFK-AUA next week and shes flying from a weekend to a weekend and the flight was filling up very fast so she booked fast.

Yeah, and Gary Kelly has stated that WN might go int'l in a while. I am still waiting for something official here myself. I wonder which cities WN would fly to CUN or Cozumel from... I would toss up BWI, MDW, PHL, PHX, LAS, and LAX...

That's just around the corner. Altough it would be bad for the Mexican airlines, it'll be good for Mexico's economy. Southwest would mean many more tourists.
