On the video there is a 747 that has the area where the LCF is modified painted in a different color. Will this be one be converted as well? By the way it seems that the tail is more bent upwards compared to a regular 747. Anyone notice this as well?

It looks like a 747SP tail on a 744.

Yes, that's the third 744 that's going to be modified into a LCF.

IIRC, the same tail, but they have made it a bit taller (by a foot or two.)

Interstingly...last pix shows the fwd lower deck cargo door is still there while it appears the aft main door along with the manual cargo door has been skinned over. Secondly...is the main deck below the cockpit and ahead of 1LR going to be used for the assemblies or is that crew area? Seems strange they left the windows in if it was for the assemblies.

No need for imports - there are homegrown varieties. From another thread.....

It was mentioned in another LCF thread. Think about it. Its a cargo hauler. Why bother wasting the money jazzing it up when most likely it'll be flying at night between Asia and BFI.

On the local news last night, they reported that some at Boeing were calling it the "Jumbo Dog" apparently in reference to some who say it looks like a big hot dog.
I was there to watch it come in Saturday AM and to be honest, it looks a whole lot better in person than in photos. Still not pretty, but not as bad as I would have thought. It is quite graceful in the air too. They interviewed the pilot on the news last night and he said she handles pretty much like a normal 744.

27 Post contains images Piercey: I heard an Evergreen/Boeing cross, similar to the Lion Air 739ER Boeing doesn't own this one, Evergreen does
28 LY4XELD: It's highly unlikely...as others said, expect it in all white.

36 Comorin: Why not put 2 decks of seats in it and call it the 747-380?
