Hello there another sad day in aviation history is about to unfold. CV-880 SN13 is about to be scrapped in ACY if a home can't be found for it. THis is the last intact CV-880 from TWA, all the others SN23 and SN35 in MHV have had parts removed and or been started to be scrapped before being saved. SN13 is complete with it's full interior and engines still installed. By someone out there knows of a home for this rare and beautiful airplane.

If anyone know of someplace looking to display this airplane in its FULL glory and not pieces please email the owner on his website.

Thank
David

If I am not mistaken, this aircraft is going down to Georgia to the National Museum of Commercial Aviation.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Cheers Peter

From what I understand they have backed out of saving this airplane.

That sucks. According to the Airliners magazine from 2002, One CV-880 was to be restored to taxiable condition.
