Yesterday evening, on the first channel of french TV (TF1) for the news at 8:00 pm, there was an interesting video about spotters at CDG who are now "authorized" by the police and cooperate with them to report any suspicious activity around the airport in relation to terrorism. Here's the link to the video. I've heard that if you join the French spotters' organisation, Kerozen, and once you do that, you can apply for authority to take photos. You don't have to be French (it would be against EU law to discriminate).
