One year ago or so, EK was planning to fly to/from GVA but postponed the launch date do to shortage of aircraft (if I'm not mistaken). Since I haven't heard a thing about it.
If anyone have news about it whether it's still in project or if it has been completely forgotten ?
Thanks in advance and sorry if this has already been discussed.

There is no shortage of aircraft at Emirates. Rather, the airline's utilization rates are on the lowish end of industry standard, and I'm pretty sure that EK could squeeze in a daily GVA roundtrip tomorrow if it so decides. As said, EK is planning a second daily ZRH rotation, so I doubt whether GVA is on the airline's short term priority list.

Quoting RootsAir (Reply 1): This must have been the stupidest excuse ever brought by EK.
Actually it was not that bad of an excuse. The launch of DXB-HAM was also postponed because of that and now, one year after the launch was first postponed, EK is due to start it's third DXB-JFK flight and through HAM. I recall there was a strike over at Boeing back then, which delayed deliveries of their 77Ws and virtually "screwed" EK's fleet planning.
Quoting RootsAir (Reply 1): Too bad because I'd rather have EK than A9 around.
