Hey guys i'm flying to Detroit on BA203 from London's Heathrow this Friday and this crazy thought crossed my mind to ask on airliners if anyone else is on board this flight. You may think i'm a total nut lol but i think it would be cool actually knowing someone on airliners is going to be on the same flight as you. There is something else i wanted to ask, is there a website that shows turbulence? Or bad weather in the sky? I just want to know if i'm in for a bumpy ride.

Cheers, Mike

Well i definitely won't be on the flight, but I have been in the Detroit area for a few weeks. If the weather is nice and if I can get free time to run to DTW, I can maybe get a picture of your plane for you coming in.

Now that would be excellent, I would LOVE to see an image of the SAME aircraft that i am on, From my searches i don't think there is an updated picture of the BA flight arriving at the metro from LHR so that would be a record you set! lol

I am not flying to DTW on the 22nd, but I am flying out of DTW on the 22nd. I will be at the NWA terminal around 5:30pm or so. My flight to STL leaves at 7:14pm.

That would be cool. We could go have a beer or soda or something. I can get there anytime. DTW is very close to my house. Where should we meet?

Sounds good to me. I have had too much beer lately anyway. What time does your flight come in and where is it coming from. I can look at the arrivals board and see the gate number. I'll meet you at the gate. How can I identify you... I have never met any a.net people before, this should be cool.

Its British Airways flight 203 from London Heathrow, United Kingdom, Arriving at around 4:30 PM, But add atleast 40 mins onto that to clear immigration and baggage claim. I usually have a bit of a wait crossing immigration as a few international flights arrive at this time, Plus this will be first time entering USA with my Green Card hehe, Today's BA flight however arrived about 15 minutes early so i don't know what time it will actually land but like you said you can check the arrivals board.

I'll try to meet you near the baggage claim area. I'll probably be wearing a tan sport coat and dark pants. 5'10 200 pounds. Very short hair cut.

Have you been to DTW before?

Make sure you say "pop" in DTW instead of soda - those Michiganders won't know what you're talking about!  spin

I highly recommend the National Coney Island - nothing like a nice big sloppy hotdog and some chili fries. It's right outside of A47 in the NW terminal.

You got it! I'm used to making the hop on a Commutair B-1900, so I'm hoping the ERJ won't be so bad. Hopefully I won't fall victim to the "last-flight-of-the-day-delay" virus!
