Any Updates On That Nonstop Boston-Asia Service?

Hainan Airlines coming to Boston was big news earlier this year. They were supposed to start service (I think) to China, commencing 'later this year' the stories said.

The Hainan web site, besides being almost inaccessible with links that don't work, says nothing about Boston. And from this part of the globe, there's no further news either.

So, what happened to this grand plan???
