Sorry this is only a test. My thread suddenly disappeared I only found it in "My Starred Topics" and not anymore in the forum. I don't think that it must be deleted, no violation of the rules and in the right forum.

well, no surprise here, since the best a.net meetings are held there  Wink
IMO Swiss deserves it, they are working really hard to get more profitable and ZRH certainly is a great airport.
I hope they continue on their present way and I wish them good luck for the future.

And isn't ZRH something like the 6th best Airport in the world? That's really great.

I haven't been in the several Asian airports rumored to be great, but of the 34 major and not-so-major airports I've been to in my life, ZRH is definitely the best. It's the cleanest, shiniest, friendliest, quickest... you name it. Well done everyone at ZRH.

Congratulations Zurich! At what other airport will the baggage beat you to the claim when you're coming from the midfield dock, so that you can board the InterCity Train within the airport to your final destination just 25 minutes from your time of deboarding?

Yes, definitely deserved.

SWISS definitely also deserves their awards, especially the economy prize. It's difficult to find an airline where even the economy service is dependably friendly, professional and well-managed. Can't stress that professional aspect. None of that Delta/AA/US Airways "Welcome to Delta, blah blah blah. Here's your sandwich, drinks are extra. Now shut up or we'll turn the plane around." Kind of reminds me of the tone of a school bus driver...

Cheers.

Other interesting notes from the Survey:

Qatar Airlines is more highly rated than Emirates in 2 of 3 categories including the region's best airline. Mr. Al Baker has something to crow about!

Also, America wins best first (a bit of a surprise) and Delta wins best business (not a surprise give the hair width win by CO over DL in the JD Power survey).

Also not a surprise, but worth noting is Cathay beating Singapore in 2 of 3 categories ala Qatar and Emirates.

The worm is turning!
