I was just wondering if all jetBlue planes have been upgraded to include XM Satellite radio yet? Do any A320's have the XM? Or is it only the newer planes that are coming with these features, the only B6 flight I've been on that's had it was on an E-190. jetblue says on their site that their rolling it out fleetwide in '06, but that's what they said in '05 as well.
Also, weren't they supposed to upgrade all the screens to larger screens, as something I read on this forum a while back?

Most* of the A320's have been upgraded to the bigger screens. Just last Month they said the FAA has approved the use of both XM and Direct TV on the A320's so from now on it will take one whole yr for every single plane to be fully upgraded

643, our newest delievery, is the 2nd aircraft to be outfitted with both.

Flying out of LGA to MCO on Friday evening via jetBlue's "Bippity Boppity Blue", I got to experience the new, larger screens, which are awesome. No XM yet, though. Flying back on "Blues Brothers", still had the old screens. I wonder how hard it is and what's invloved in the switchover? Do they have to do it at the LiveTV facility, or can it be done quickly at a JFK gate? I also wonder what's involved for the upgrade to XM...probaly needs the new screen, a new seat remote, but what other equipment and how long does it take to do?
P.S. Off topic, but can anybody link me to a/the site with all the jetBlue plane names & delivery dates? I can't seem to find that page.

I like the new screens, but I ask why they are the same grey as the seat backs? I dunno if it's me, but looks slightly cheaper than the old black units albeit smaller as well.

Are you sure? One year per A/C? That would mean the Airbus fleet would take 90 plus years to upgrade. I can't believe that, they have roughly 18 190's and all are equipped with XM radio and live TV.

I said it will take one yr for all the planes to be converted.

I would say 5 or 6 out of every A320 I fly has the new screens...not bad, and definitely a steadily increasing number! I've yet to fly on the E190, but none of my A320's have had XM (only 2 in the fleet with it currently)...hopefully, maybe, just maybe that will change on my FLL-JFK this Friday!

It's not an "official" site from jetBlue, but very helpful (don't think it has been updated in a few months though):

I would say a good amount of the 320's have the new larger screens because I have flown on many recently and I got the new larger ones most of the flights. The 190 is very nice and I love the XM. The E190 is my favorite airplane with the 320 a fraction of an inch behind. But the XM & DirecTV combo is very nice and can't wait until they finish getting all the 320's outfitted with both. It takes a new remote to be added so I think that could add some time. As for the new screens, I posted a thread forever ago when they first started this and after seeing it many times, they not only put a new screen in, the whole seat back tray and covering is different and they are making the seats a lighter gray. Not that much noticible but it is there on many. Some just have the new screens and coverings.
