I can't help but think back to the AMFA requesting an impasse last year, which was exactly what Northwest Airlines wanted. Specifically, what I am asking is this: what are the chances that Northwest pulls those number-4 employees (the scab F/A employee numbers all started in four) out of thin air, puts them back into hotel rooms, and has them ready when the ensuing 30-day cooling-off period expires and flight attendants with numbers starting in 0, 1, or 2 find themselves locked off the airplanes that they are striking anyway?

Worse, what is the chance that I just gave Chainsaw a new idea? If I just did that, please shoot me.
