Just checked http://www.cial.co.uk and the following flight to LGW is listed;

NW44A London Gatwick 10:20

Was it a divert or something and is now positioning back to LGW?

Regards,
Chris

NWA44 runs MSP-LGW so it must be a divert.

From NWA.COM:

Departs: Minneapolis/St. Paul-Int'l, MN (MSP) Arrives: Cardiff, Wales (CWL )
Departure Date: September 22 Arrival Date: September 23
Gate: F10 Gate:
Scheduled: 7:00PM Scheduled:
Actual: 6:53PM Actual: 9:30AM
Aircraft: DC10-30 Weather: CWL
Status: Arrived

Destination Weather is the reason for the divert.

Glad to help out. I wonder in LGW will become an A330 city soon...

It already is from DTW, it will be from MSP in about 2-3 weeks.

Thanks Bursie!

I remember flying in the olden days on a 741 in First from LGW to MSP.
The caviar service was very impressive!

Doubt it, it wouldnt be NW44A if that were the case would it?

I was joking! ...But maybe they were sussing it out?

Nah.. I don't think CWL have much chance of NYC flight. CWL can't support a basic European network with Air Southwest, Eastern and others pulling out. What's going wrong? I was sure CWL was moving up a gear? It is a shame.

What about the Lufthansa rumor. BRS or CWL?
