Finnair was rated Japan's favourite western airline in the Top 10 Airline Survey conducted by the AB-ROAD magazine, the country's most reputable travel magazine.

Overall, Finnair was ranked fourth in the survey. All Nippon was first, Singapore Airlines second and Japan Airlines third. It is notable that Finnair performed best among western airlines. The other airlines placed in the top ten were Emirates, Aircalin, Virgin Atlantic, Eva Airways, KLM and Cathay Pacific.

Good for them.

If they are that strong, why don't they expand to Sapporo?

Or FUK for that matter.

How many wide bodies do they have?

AY might fall waaaaay down the list if they introduce 'tiny' 757s on the NRT route.

Agreed and why would they do this? Wouldn't they want to maintain some kind of capacity with an A340? Or is this so they can take advantage of the 2nd runway or save on landing fees. It had better be a very well decked out and comfortable 757 to keep the Tokyo crowd happy.

I say open CTS and use a 757 there, keep NRT a widebody.

AY is trying to get more slots in NRT for A340, they said they will get the answear from Tokyo in the end of this month.
I agree, I really hope they will forget 757.
