In the caribbean, the term "Island Hopping" is very common. For instance,

If you want to fly from St. Marteen to Port of Spain, a typical flight may take you, St Marteen - St. Kitts - Antigua - St Lucia - St Vincent - Grenada - Port of Spain. Each stop should be 15 or less as 15 is the stipulated turn around time, then you are on your way. Flights between each island is usually in the region of 25-45min. These are Dash8 services.

But even airlines like Air Jamaica, have stops at times. For instance, JFK-UVF-BGI-KIN (A320) and the return with the same routing. Or BWIA, POS - BGI - ANU - SXM - KIN (B738)etc.

Any other parts of the world, see this sort of routing? The US? Europe? Or are there more availble non stop options?

There is something special about planes....
