A quick question:
On Thursday 14th Sept (the week before last), I was on the early morning bmi flight out of LHR to BRU. As we taxied down past T3, and T5 I noticed the tail of a Philippines Airlines A330 or A340 parked at one of the remotes down by T5. I'm absolutely certain it was Philippines Airlines, but can anyone shed any light on why it was there (state visit? sale to another airline ?) as the airline stopped flying to Europe years ago.
I couldn't see whether it was a 330 or 340 as the aircraft was fairly obscured by the Syrian 747SP, leaving only the rear of the aircraft on view.
Many thanks to anyone who can shed any light on why it was there, and confirm that my eyes were not deceiving me !
*Apologies for the delay in asking this, but as I've just come back from a two week ban for being a bad boy.....
Just when I thought I could see light at the end of the tunnel, it was some B*****d with a torch bringing me more work
