Airline safety videos are now starting to appear on You Tube. Here's a sampling of some of the best quality:

Singapore Airlines 744:

US Airways 734:

America West A320:

Delta L-1011:

Enjoy!

Goodness

I am an aviation enthusiast, and love almost any discussion or articles etc that relates to aircraft, and continue to be enthused well after evryone else is bored stiff by the topic.

However, I can't for the life of me grasp how a selection of airline safety videos could possibly generate enough interest to warrant a spot on Youtube!!

Bizarre!!

Interesting, thanks for sharing! It's cool they could get a video of it, because if I remember correctly the F/A's wont allow it.

There was one new one for the DL 764 laying on a Tug that I was gonna digitize if it worked but after the day was done I didn't remember to take it off of the Tug.

I love the US Airways one for a few reasons.

1) the FA's are wearing the old US Air wings (post Piedmont merger)
2) the safety card that the passenger pulls out of the seat pocket is one for US Air (the old cover showing the wings)
3) the little girl is smiling when the mask is being put on by her mother

I dunno about you guy, but I enjoyed looking at those videos. US Airways brought back memories. I am only sad, it wasn't the song "Traditional Transformations. I have only been on their 733/734 a few times, but I can't remember what theme song was used. I am almost certain it was Traditional Trans...

Is it just me or does the American West safety video narrator sounds like the Borg Collective?

Couldn;t say exactly what it was, but she does sound weird. Actually the only video I really like is US. Delta's is just long and boring. America West, well she needs a new voice. Big grin Singapore has a nice accent. But US is the most normal.

SAFETY MISTAKE IN THE DELTA VIDEO:
In the DL L-1011 video the guy at the emergency exit is stowing an executive case in front of him (time: 00:22), usually this is not and should not be allowed for exit row passengers!!! Strange.

Not the whole video, but here's one with the "Traditional" theme. After "Please take a moment to listen to the important message.", it's pretty much the same video:
