Jetblue's New Terminal At JFK

I recently arrived from a flight on B6 LGB/JFK and was surprised to deplane at gate 22 in the new terminal. I walked through the new terminal which was really nice and then they had us board a bus to the original B6 terminal. Does anybody know when the new terminal will be completely done and how much longer passengers have to take a bus to the main terminal?

I think the projected completion of the new T5 is supposed to be in 2009 sometime; I'll check online again.

 checkmark  Early 2009. This can change, I understand that they are ahead of schedule. B6 is in dire need of the extra space. A couple of times I have arrived at JFK only to wait 20-30 minutes for an available gate.

And just to keep things straight, you were not in the "New Terminal". You were in the temporary trailer park we have set up until T5 opens. The trailers just happen to sit in front of T5. Not bad for a double wide though!  Wink

Sorry... just don't want anyone confused and thinking thats what the new terminal will look like on the inside.

LOL, very true! I do have to admit though, for temporary structures they are quite nice.
