Tonight I arrived at LAX on UA Shuttle 737-300 and after nearly being run over by a AA 777-200 I spied what I belive to be a Delta 767-400 at Terminal 5. Does anyone know for sure if Delta is flying this type to LAX now that they have 5 in the fleet??

I don't think they've started LAX service yet. They will start west coast service on November 1st to SFO. I doubt they have already started ATL-LAX with it but I could be wrong.

They haven't started LAX service with the 764. But you never know...a 764 could be used to replace a TriStar with problems...

The 764 is not curently scheduled on the LAX run YET, but MOdesto could be right, with it replacing a L1011 on a route. The other thought is it could have been on a proving run for the airline or on pilot/flight crew training run.
