My family and I are now looking at taking U5 from DTW-PIE in early March. Looking at the Flight Schedule, it seems on the flight, we get a sitcom. Does U5 have PTV in every seatback?

How is traffic going into the Berry Terminal at DTW? Is it as busy as say the NW Worldgateway? Does getting through security take a long time?

Any info appreciated.

No PTV's on USA3000 also security at the Berry depends on the amount of charters at that time, as it is only one entrance into the secured area.

They have dropdown video screens. Ive commuted back and forth from CLE to RSW (and PIE) many times on U5 and their inflight service is great. (speaking as a former flight attendant). Seats are a little right, but the crews are great, the trail mix is real (as opposed to mainline cheapo 5 year old stuff) and they dont fret on giving ya the whole can. Anywho Id fly them again!

The service is very nice and the meals that they served on my flight BWI-BDA were pretty good.Very friendly crew and i didn't feel to cramped even though it was packed.Like Luv2fly said no ptv's but the monitors did the job. Enjoy your trip .

I flew usa-3000 ORD-AUA-ORD a few years ago. Southbound it was a bit of a disaster. The exterior was in USA-3000 colors but the interior was stil a very worn JMC aircraft. Pitch was charter-tight. The problem was that the IFE was screwed up and only the left ear worked at every seat and they had no coffee makers! The crew was absolutlely embarassed by the state of things. Coming home it was a brand new looking 320 in complete USA-3000 finish. The crew was very friendly again and the food in both directions was edible. The only problem was that in an almost 7 hour flight there was only one beverage service. I'd fly them again in a heartbeat.
