I was just reading the latest issue of the magazine "Der Spiegel" which had an interesting article about the problems at Airbus.
At the end of the Article it mention the possibility of Northrop Grumman buying shares of EADS which would help Northrop Grumman to enter the European market and EADS the American market.
A high ranked Daimler Chrysler manager said that this was very good idea.
Maybe Daimler Chrysler could sell its shares of EADS to Northrop Grumman.
It will forever be a McDonnell Douglas MD 80 , Boeing MD 80 sounds so wrong

IMO, this is a good idea if it comes with management say; otherwise, I'd reconsider the whole thing.
EDIT: BTW, if Northrup Grumman did buy into EADS, and did get a management say...how would the Russians feel?
