Great news! Things seem like they are starting to look a little brighter at NW.

Not all of us can be heroes, some of us can only stand on the sidewalk and clap as they go by.

Just wondering. Going on strike gained the average "worker bee" exactly, WHAT??

Sadly, due to the current government stance against labor and the typical hard working American... not too much.

Looks like someone got the wrong city down... although Eagan and Eden rhyme. A minor mistake but its great to see how people check their facts.

Interesting... how, exactly and specifically, did the US government intervene in the NW mechanics situation?

I will tell you how..When we were negotiating the contract in 2001 before 9/11 we had the upper hand and were about to walk and "W" stepped in with a PEB and stopped it at the request of nw who the bush administration has his hands all in. Spring ahead to 2005 nw spends almost 2 yrs and 100 million dollars to get replacements all lined up knowing full well they wanted us gone and where is bush now? Nowhere because nw told him to stay out of it and he did. There is a whole laundry list of people either former employees or on the board of directors with political ties to this administration so it is no surprise to see nw as bush's puppetmaster.
