It seams Delta Airlines is looking at improving it's trans-con service beyond the entertainment previously announced and discussed on these threads. It looks as if pillows and meals are about to make a come-back:
I've already noticed blankets being quite prevalent on the last two DL flights I've taken to the Pacific Northwest from SLC that originated as transcons from PHL-SLC-SEA, IAD-SLC-YVR or became one; YVR-SLC-RDU.
