Hi guys,
Just a quick question.
Im going on a star alliance RTW itinerary next year in business class on a 39000 mile ticket,
the airlines im using are:

NH
UA
SQ
LX
LO
NZ
TP
SQ

Can anyone tell me which of these has the nicer business class product in terms of seats / entertainement / food ??
I worked for SQ in the past and know they are still top dog.
I also have the choice on one route to go on either OZ or TG... TG is on their 330 and OZ on their 772... any idea who I should choose ??
The route is HKGICN.
Ok well any hints Id really appreciate.. also do TP have lie flats ?
I think Skytrax said they didnt... I'll have to recheck?

Cheers !!

Joe

next flights: LTN-EWR (Y7) / CAK-PHL-EWR (US) / EWR-LTN (Y7)

Not that I've had the chance to try either of them, but SQ/NZ are going to be the top two. NZ have true flatbed seats as well.

For HKG-ICN I would choose OZ purely as it's a 777!

Cheers
Noel

I just got my RTW ticket this morning. I'm on a SA / UA RTW at the end of the year, although I get to fly on QF as well, due to SA's codeshare partnership with QF.  Smile

I flew Star Alliance round the world this summer too. (CRWSTAR2)
I heard good things about SQ before but actually I was rather dissappointed their Spacebed is really hard (cushion to thin) and I was stuck in it for 16 hours from SIN to LAX. Also there is no Amenity Kit in Business with nice brand name Cosmetics. TG Business was much better there was a Biotherm Kit on a 3.5 h flight. I also flew LH, LG, UA and US.

LUX-FRA-PHL-MIA-CLT-FRA-LUX on LG and US, RSW-CLT-SAN-PHL-RSW on US

You should use all CAPS next time for airline and airport codes, that way we can put our cursor over the airport code and see what airports you are flying to  Wink

I would choose OZ over TG. Was on a flight from SYD to ICN in january on their B777. Food, entertainment and seats in Y-class were better than on TG's flight from NRT to BKK on the A330 a week later.
