Do Wizzair and Air Baltic assign seats at check-in or is it free seating onboard like Ryanair? Thanks!

I know Air Baltic pre-assigns seats... not sure about Wizzair though!

Originally Wizz Air is free seating like others have already said, but I experienced few times that F/As are asking you to move down to the back part of the aircraft for faster boarding. Only happened twice so far...

I have noticed Delta feeling uncomfortable every time he speaks about Air Baltic so pls do not take him too serious.

I also had 2 very pleasent return flights AMS-RIX on Air Baltic, when they were still flying the route. I had the YL-BBA 735 all 4 legs, with nice seats. I found it comfortable, no different than any other short-haul european carrier. (with the exception of the newer Ryanair seats, which are worse).
