What have your experiences been on spiritair's spirit plus product? i flew DTW-LAX last night on it, paying the $70 upgrade fee from coach (which was bought during an $89 o/w fair sale). I thought in general it was worth the upgrade. Free drinks but no food served (free snacks).

coach NK's A321s its 6 across with 31-32in pitch. plus is 4 across with 36 inch pitch. the only gripe is no IFE on a nearly transcon flight. but then again, $70 only. (and it was full).

On the LAX flights I believe now you can pre-order meals for the flight. A very good idea on NK's part. I have never flown them in Plus, I'm always in the back but it looks nice when walking by. =D

Just flew an A319 on the quick trip from FLL to MCO. The wider seat and better legroom will always be worth the upgrade. Only $10 for such a short leg. Delta wanted $800+ for a similar timed R/T on an ERJ. Don't need the Skymiles that bad. Clean plane, friendly crews. I honestly hope they make it.

My definition of cool ? Not trying so hard to be cool.

Great. Definately worth it. I fly them + all the time. It is great on a long flight to ORD or SJU from FLL. I don't upgrade, just buy it Spirit + from the get-go. I often (though not always) find it cheaper than buying the cheap fare and upgrading.

Worth the xtra leg room 4 sho!

I was at a job fair the other day and someone said that Spirit was in trouble, any truth in that?
