Just found something really weird on the FBOWeb plugin for Google Earth. Supposedly a flight of the Spanish charter Air Comet, with BIO-ORD routing (weird enough already) is diverted (it sure looks that way) somewhere above the middle Atlantic not far from the most NE tip of Brazil.... Here's how it looks like:

Big version: Width: 1024 Height: 768 File size: 109kb

Anyone knows what this is? Just some glitch or something?

Thats a lonnnnng way off any Europe to ORD routing I know...

The fact they are so close to Paramaribo seems slightly if not greatly odd...

flightaware doesn't show an IFR flight plan for MPD905 anywhere in U.S. airspace. My guess would be that they didn't actually file for (and weren't going to) ORD.

That's right, I checked at flightaware.com straight away and didn't find anything, no mention of A7 in their logs at all (which is weird since A7's website does have JFK as a charter destination -- nothing about ORD though). Also, the ORD homepage didn't have that flight listed on today's arrivals.

Then that FBOweb listing makes even less sense. Really wonder what this is about..
