Thoses pics are about last AF 743 ferry flight to Chalons-Vatry. Before landing, the crew made 2 low pass over the runway at 50ft with pax on board!

What is it? It's A 747-400, but that's not important right now.

I would have loved to be on that plane doing low passes. If were the pilot I would do that all day or until my fuel got low. That looks like fun.

That was the very last flight of this B747-300 (or should I say B-747-200SUD), F-BTDH.

The 4 aircraft operated by Air France were retired from service at the end of the summer.
F-BTDG and F-BTDH were ferried to XCR ( Châlon-Vatry) to be stored and scrapped.
F-GETA & F-GETB are for the moment stored at ORY, before the delivery to their now owner.

It wasn't "civil" pax, but some peoples (18) from AF (crew,...) that have worked, flown on the 742/743 during their career...

Definitely not a fake, I have a video of the fly past as well as a TV program where they spoke to the crew during preparation for the flypast, including simulator footage

Air France was served well by te 743 they inherited from UTA. Too bad they flew them to the Caribean and not for a more worthy mission with First Class to LAX and JFK.
