Phase-1 of the TUS 11L/29R re-paving project is complete, and the runway is open again, sorta.

I say "sorta" because next week, they'll go to Phase-2, which involves closing 11L/29R every night at 2130 local time for overnight work.

So, no more oddball stuff on 03/21, unless one is arriving/departing after 2130 local time when weather allows them to do work on Phase-2.

Great news...I've been on vacation all week...but the closure was a pain at times....glad they are done (sorta).  Smile

By 9:30 in the evening most Tucson flights have departed with the exception of the Jet Blue flight to JFK and a US flight to Las Vegas. There are a good number of arrivals after that time.
