The arrival of a couple of extra B77W is COI configuration in early 2007 means that the B744s will be relieved from the COI network, and that thus they become available to the airline's mainline operation. As such, YYZ will see the B744 instead of the usual A343.

YYZ is seeing a very healthy increase in available trans-Atlantic seats for next summer . KLM will be twice daily , AF increasing capacity . Great news , I hope this increase in available seats would affect the ridiculously exorbitant fares during the high season .

Quoting Jouy31 (Reply 4): I thought COI configs also had Alize Class (S) in addition to Economy and Business ?
Unlike on the new B77W, The Alizée on the B744 is not very different from the "normal" M Class. Seats are the same. They are just at the upper deck, and fitted with PTV .
2 more B773ER to be based at Orly in January and Feb, will replace the B744 on ORY-RUN.
The configuration 17J/454Y will be then abandonned and the 5 B744 in this config. will be reconfigured again into 40J/393Y.

anyother airlines planning on upping the aircraft into YYZ?? I know Transaero is adding a 3rd weekly flight YYZ-DME Jan 1st '07 and the load factors are very high on those flights, so any chance Transaero could send the B742 into YYZ?? how cool would that be!

As said somewhere before, KLM will reinforce capacity to YYZ by the addition of 5 evening departures from AMS, operated with B772ER, in addition to the daily B744 roundtrip. That will result in 12 weekly roundtrips by KL on the route.
