My cousin and his new wife set off on their honeymoon yesterday to Thailand. They flew out of Manchester and in my ignorance I was unsure of both the airline and the a/c. Can anyone shed any light?

Do you even know if they flew direct (I'm not sure you can). If they changed flights somewhere it could have been one of many.....

Of course you could just ask them when they get back or possibly text them if it is a pressing issue  Wink

No direct or non stop flights. Thai Airways have stated MAN is in their plans though

Well it could be any of these:

BA - MAN-LHR-BKK (QF/BA)
EK - MAN-DXB-BKK
EY - MAN-AUH-BKK
QR - MAN-DOH-BKK
TG - MAN-LHR-BKK (BD/TG)
LX - MAN-ZRH-BKK (LX/TG)
AY - MAN-HEL-BKK
LH - MAN-FRA-BKK (LH/TG)
SK - MAN-CPH-BKK

My guess it that they would have flown either EK (777s), EY (A330/77W) or QR (A332/3)

Then it is NOT EY as they depart 0845 . I suspect it is EK as they leave in afternoon with direct connection in DXB
