KPDX - great stuff. Whenever I visit Portland in the summer, I always go out for an afternoon on the parking garage. That is one of my favorite spots to take photos...

...I am actually heading out there on Friday and staying until Monday - I will try and head out some time this weekend. I hope that the weather is good...

It is a little old isn't it? Since it shows the USAFR tankers and better yet, Mesa CR9s? But it was a fun watch  bigthumbsup

Yep it is old! Some photos were from June 29th, 2005. Others from Early February this year (rainy ones), and some from over this summer. Big grin

Thanks for the comments!

Great PDX scenes! Anyone ever check out the viewing area on Marine Dr. along Rwy 28R/10L? The area has been made smaller in recent years, but still great, especially during Summer evening arrivals!

Nice job! PDX looks great! Last time I was at PDX, they were renovating. I need to take a visit back down there soon. I did not know Skywest was that big anymore. They are tiny in SEA now.

Thanks for sharing!

We do see a lot of Skywest here. PDX is actually a Skywest minihub flying UAX all over the region, and they also fly for Delta Connection to SLC.

I wish UA flew mainline to MYR, that way you wouldn't be stuck in a smelly Saturn for 12 hours.

That looks like it was filmed at CDG. Am I right? BTW why did they choose an aviation theme for that song? As many times as I've heard it, I never once put a plane with that song.

The only HP metal I saw in that montage were the 733s and a CR9. We've started flying 319s and 320s out of LAS now, have you snapped any pics of those yet? Is there still a YV flight out of PHX?

Correct - CDG 2F.

I don't know, to be honest with you. But I'm not complaining - that's probably my favorite song, and having the video with planes it in doesn't hurt at all.  biggrin

Yea that is odd! Every time I see it, its already taking off right when I get there, you would think I would get it by now, huh! Big grin

After a hiatus of a year or so, we get one YV flight back in...three days I think. But it will be from/to LAS, not PHX.

That's because on every day but Sunday our Airbus is gone at 0815. I think on Sundays we have a 320 for our 1115 departure. Sad that we only have one a day, when we used to have seven daily  Sad

I flew it from SEA to PHX. Nice bird, but not very fun on a 3 hour and 25 minute flight. Our plane circled for about an hour due to ATC. I finally started to get uncomfortable after about 2 hours.

I do like the plane though. They keep the cabins looking nice on them.

The last flight from PHX to PDX departs at around 5:30pm. The last flight of the night from LAS arrives at around 2:00am but it has been a 733 for a couple months now.

Just changed last week to a 320 to replace the 320 you've been sending us at 1955, flight 17.

However, the 2056 dept out of LAS, flt 198, was downgraded to a 733.

25 AirCop : Just needed to add the LH 340 then you would have everybody that serves PDX.
26 Post contains images KPDX : Yea Ive never got that one! Ive only seen it in the air after takeoff twice, both times without camera. KPDX
