The 744 would have been the annual "Dreamflight".....an annual event organised by the Dreamflight charity which sends terminally ill & disabled kids to Disney World for the holiday of a lifetime. The charity was set up by retired BA Flight Engineer Derek Pereira & retired flight attendant Pat Pearce, and the 744 that you saw would have been the 20th annual trip. Whilst the charity was set up outside of BA it's still a cause that is very dear to the hearts of many staff here.

Is the BA747 not the DREAMFLIGHT aircraft which brings sick children from the UK to Orlando? This flight is arranged and organised by staff from BA and is heavily promoted throughout the company. A wonderful ex CSD Pat Kerr is one of the chief organisers of this flight and has done so for many years. There are many others involved. It should have Dreamflight written somewhere on the fuselage.
