What are the health requirments to be a pilot. Can you be overweight or have a disease? So far, I match the requirements of being a pilot, but can you be a pilot if your not in perfect health, I have 20/15 vision in my right eye, but I can't se well with my left, I can see great though, what about that?? Thanks for your help!!!

SUPREME COURT RULING DEALS BLOW TO NEARSIGHTED PILOTS
In a major ruling last week, the U.S. Supreme Court said the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) does not cover people with poor eyesight or other correctable conditions. Twin sisters Karen Sutton and Kimberly
Hinton, regional airline pilots who wanted to work for United Airlines, argued that their nearsightedness should be considered a disability. The court concluded that the two sisters are not disabled as defined by
the ADA, and therefore could not invoke that law to sue United.
