TEMPE, Ariz., Oct. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- US Airways (NYSE: LCC - News) warms up the winter with fare reductions to 39 destinations on both the East and West Coast, as the airline continues the popular fare reductions it set in motion late last year. Passengers will see reductions in walkup fares up to 63 percent, and advance purchase fares up to 69 percent. Fares are available immediately and can be booked at www.usairways.com, by calling 800-428-4322 or through a travel agent.

"An overwhelmingly positive response from our customers and a positive revenue impact for the airline has prompted us to continue spreading our consumer-friendly pricing structure across even more of our network," said Tom Trenga, vice president, revenue management for US Airways. "US Airways is confirming its commitment to its customers by providing affordable fares from their local airports."

Walkup fare based on one-way purchase. Advance purchase sample fare requires roundtrip air travel. With this wave of fare reductions US Airways has dramatically lowered prices in over 225 markets this year. The current changes include the following markets:
