I believe that LTU Sud was a division (dont think it was a seperate legal entity) of LTU that operated B767s and B757s on charter flights from Munich and some other German airports to European holiday destinations. I have read somewhere that LTU Sud was being or has been totally intergrated into LTU. They, and LTE, another LTU divison operating out of Spain, had some early Eastern Airlines 757-225s acquired out of the bankruptcy.

Hello

LTUSüd, founded 1983 in Munich as LTS-LufttransportSüd AG (blue colors), was a charter airline. There first aircraft was a B757,two further B757s followed in 1985 and 1986. In 1987 LTS were renamed in LTUSüd. Between 1997 and 1998 LTUSüd merged with LTU from Dusseldorf.

Greetings from Germany!
