I just heard from a friend that there is an a/c off the runway at TEB. I'm looking on-line for information and will post anything when I hear. Supposedly all on board are ok.

Ironic that a search for 'teterboro' on Google reveals only that "Teterboro Airport now has safer runway" as of 10:17 EST...

Thats very ironic, article about the incident was posted two minutes later.

Plane still not identified, came in from STL with 7 pax on board.

Doesn't appear to be a big deal--the article says the nosewheel is about 20 feet off the runway and into the EMAS bed. Doesn't sound like all that different a situation/outcome than the bizjet at BUR a couple of weeks ago.

If there happens to have been a New York Yankee aboard this latest one at TEB, look for the media to really turn the incident into a circus...

According to the mention in the weather (reply #3), it happened at the end of runway 06. From the media report, it looks like the nosegear went about 20 feet into the EMAS bed...
